  Radiation Oncologists

We have two board certified radiation oncologists on staff at Memorial & St. Elizabeth’s Cancer Treatment Center. A radiation oncologist is a physician who develops and manages your radiation treatment plan. Their board certification means they have undergone several years of additional specialized training and passed a rigorous national exam. Board certification is the only recognized criterion that designates competency and proficiency in the care of cancer patients.

We also have four medical oncologists, through Illinois Oncology, LTD, our on-site physician affiliates. Your medical oncologist directs your chemotherapy.
