  Transportation to and from Treatment

Cancer Treatment often means daily appointments over a 4 – 6 week period. This is something to carefully consider when choosing a treatment facility. The facility needs to be as close and accessible as possible. Every patient needs an advocate with them for every appointment—someone to provide physical and emotional support, as well as provide transportation.

But, not all patients are able to have a friend or relative drive them. We will assist our patients in finding transportation to and from treatments, through whatever resources are available, including non-profit organizations and volunteer drivers.

Volunteer Drivers Welcome
If you would like to volunteer to help a patient with transportation to and from treatments, please call 618-236-1000.
